“Some people come into your life as blessings, other people come into your life as lessons” – Liza Pavlakos

I believe that people come into our lives for a reason.

Nothing in life happens by chance—there are no accidental meetings.

I genuinely believe that we are destined to meet certain people that can enrich our lives and  help make us better in some way. But I’m not alone in this thinking. In some cultures, it is thought that we have ‘soul contracts’ with specific people before we’re even born.

All relationships are indeed intricate connections between different souls.

If we look at relationships with a positive mindset, we realise that people often come into our lives to help us grow and move forward to become the best version of ourselves we can be.

Have you ever met someone that has made a positive impact on your life, even though they have just entered it for a short moment in time?

Or perhaps you’ve met someone who has caused you angst and they too, seem to exit your life just as fast as they came in.

These people came into your life for a reason, and just the same, exited your life for a reason.

People come into your life to share advice and wisdom because, at any given time, that is precisely what you needed from them. Sometimes this knowledge isn’t shared with you directly, but you are shown a path towards the wisdom you must learn on your own.

There is never an acceptable reason why a person you once loved or cared for would leave you, but we must accept our life’s story the way it was meant to be.

What if you were to try and understand that if a person leaves you, it is not the end. It is the beginning of a new you, a version of you that now understands the art of detachment.

Sometimes, a person leaves you so that you learn how to adapt and let go of circumstances that are beyond your control.
