As a teenager, she faced homelessness after escaping from sexual abuse, only to become a victim of such intense domestic violence as a young adult that she needed to have the right side of her face reconstructed. Then, just when she thought she was finally free of violence, she was abducted and almost murdered by a stranger an experience that, after her escape, sent her into a downward spiral depression, suicide attempts, and drug addiction.

But Liza wasn’t done yet and ultimately she overcame her past adversities and changed her life, becoming first a successful entrepreneur and then a motivational speaker. Today, Liza devotes her life to inspiring others to succeed against all odds through self-discipline, mental toughness, and determination.
